The model series of the Comline DOC skimmers has been developed for an effective and modern protein skimming process in marine biotopes from 200 to 2,000 litres (50 to 525聽USgal.). They stand out for their compact dimensions at the same time ensuring a high foam cup capacity, and producing a very high throughput on account of their air capacity of 650 or 1,300聽l/h (170 or 340聽US聽gal./h), for example, depending on the model. They can be placed directly in the aquarium or in cabinet systems with a variable water level.

TUNZE庐 Hydrofoamer
This especially developed component consists of a high-performance centrifugal pump with a defined sense of rotation, directly coupled to an air diffuser nozzle. The Hydrofoamer generates large volumes of fine air bubbles with a diameter of between 0.1 to 0.4 mm (.0039 to .015 in.).

All Comline DOC skimmers are prepared for a direct and discrete positioning in the aquarium ex factory, at an immersion depth between 240 and 290 mm (9.5 to 11.4 in.). However, they can also be installed in aquarium cabinets with a variable height from 100 to 280 mm (3.9 to 11.0 in.), whereas the supplied accessories must be implemented to create a constant internal water level. Depending on the model, the water circulation can reach a flow rate of 850 l/h (224 US聽gal./h), 1,300 l/h (340聽US聽gal./h) or 2,600 l/h (680聽US聽gal./h), and the cartridge core on the outlet pipe ensures a bubble-free discharged water. Skimmer cup and foam reactor form a single unit in all TUNZE庐 DOC skimmers: During every cleaning of the skimmer cup the reactor is also cleaned at the same time, therefore ensuring a very constant and efficient foam production. During the cleaning process, the Hydrofoamer remains operational and automatically executes the flushing of the jet and the air passage. Delivery form: Completely ready for installation with magnet holder and Hydrofoamer with Turbelle庐 e-jet pump.
