Turbelle® e-jet

Turbelle® e-jet 5005 is a pump operated on safety extra-low voltage, the speed of which can be controlled electronically. It is ideal for the simulation of lapping waves or tidal currents in every aquarium. It contains a new microprocessor-controlled motor and thus can be called an “intelligent pump”:
The electronic motor adapts its speed automatically to the pump load and always seeks the best efficiency at the lowest possible consumption of energy. This energy consumption is about fifty per cent lower than in conventional pump motors.
The pumps will be stopped immediately in case of blockage. After the blockage has been removed, the pumps will start up automatically after a delay of 20 seconds.
Turbelle® e-jet 5005 has been provided with a fish care function, which causes a revolution of the propeller every twenty seconds.
This pump can be controlled by Multicontroller 7094, 7095 and 7096 as well as by Wavecontroller 7092; and is supplied with a power supply unit.

Turbelle® e-jet 5005 replaces two pumps !

Turbelle® e-jet 5005 has been fitted with a power supply unit (article No. 6105.240) with two adjustment possibilities set by the lateral jumper.
Adjustment to 24V direct current (delivery condition):
Pump adjustable from 2,400l/h to 4,200l/h (635 to 1,100 USgal./h); energy consumption: max. 40W.
Adjustment 15V direct current: Pump adjustable from 1,600l/h to 2,800l/h (420 to 740 USgal./h); energy consumption: max. 20W.
The adjustment of 15V or 24V is very simple by setting the jumper at the bottom of the power supply unit.

Turbelle® e-jet 5005 as a high-pressure pump; Hmax. 5,5 m (216.5 in.).

With a few addtional parts only the Turbelle® e-jet 5005 can be converted into a high-pressure pump. After conversion, the pump can serve as a recirculation pump for special applications with high water columns or into a skimmer pump for a Venturi skimmer. The following parts have to be used to replace the drive unit and the impeller housing:
Impeller Housing 1201.13, Drive Unit 1205.700, and Sleeve 1200.15.
Thus, the Turbelle® e-jet 5005 achieves the following performance:
Adjustment to 24 Vdirect current:

Pump adjustable between 800 and 1,400l/h (210 and 370 USgal./h); Hmax. 5.5m (216.5 in.); energy consumption max. 40W.
Adjustment 15V direct current:
Pump adjustable between 550 and 900l/h (145 and 240 USgal./h); Hmax. 3m (118.1 in.); energy consumption max. 19W.
The adjustment of 15V or 24V is very simple by setting the jumper at the bottom of the power supply unit.

Other power supply units for Turbelle® e-jet 5005 - safety connector.

Turbelle® e-jet 5005 has been fitted with an electronic motor. The pump can be operated on any direct-current source (battery, solar cells) from 10V to 24V. For a safe connection to the pump, we recommend the Turbelle® Safety Connector 6105.50 (article No. 6105.50), which contains a 4 amps fuse. The safety connector permits normal operation with the TUNZE® power supply unit, but in case of a power failure it will automatically switch over to a battery or another direct-current source.
