Facebook Social Plug-ins

Our website uses social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from the social networking site facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plug-ins can be identified by one of Facebook’s logos (a white "f" on a blue tile or a “thumbs-up” icon), or the phrase “Facebook Social Plug-in”. The list of Facebook social plug-ins and their appearances can be found here: Facebook Social Plug-ins

In case you access a website of our internet presence using such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The contents of the plug-in is delivered directly to your browser by Facebook and embedded into the web page. We therefore have no influence on the amount of data that Facebook is able to collect using these plug-ins, and therefore provide you the information to the best of our knowledge:

These activated plug-ins allow Facebook to know that you have visited this particular page on our website. If you are logged in to Facebook at the time, it can associate your visit to the page to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking the "Like" button or by posting a comment, the information you give is then sent directly to Facebook and saved there. If you do not have a Facebook account, it is still possible for Facebook to identify and store your IP address.

To find out more about the reasons why and the extent to which Facebook collects data, how the data is further processed and used, your rights in the matter, and settings options you can choose that protect your privacy, please see Facebook's Data Protection Policy: Facebook data use policy.

If you have a Facebook account and do not want Facebook to collect data about you from our website and connect it to your member data saved on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

It is also possible to block Facebook social plug-ins by using add-ons for your browser, for example, with the "Facebook blocker".

Google +1 button

Our website uses the "+ 1″ button of the social network Google plus, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google"). The button can be recognized by the "+1" symbol or the colored background.

In case you access a website of our internet presence using such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection to the Google servers. The contents of the "+1" button is delivered directly to your browser by Google and embedded into the web page. We have therefore no influence on the amount of data collected by Google using the button, however, we assume that your IP address will be recorded.

To find out more about the reasons why and the extent to which Google collects data, how the data is further processed and used, your rights in the matter, and settings options you can choose that protect your privacy, please refer to the Google data protection information pertaining to the "+1" button: Google +1 button privacy policy

If you have a Google Plus account and do not want Google to collect data about you from our website and connect it to your member data stored by Google, you must log out of Google Plus before visiting our website.
