The low profile Kessil® A360X Refugium LED enables the spectrum to be adjusted depending on the development phase of the algae, soft corals or plants in a refugium. The extensive possibilities of color control are just as convincing as their high light output. With the included Kessil® A360X Narrow Reflector, the light intensity of the central light beam of the A360XRF LED can be increased threefold and thus more penetration can be generated, unwanted light scattering is prevented. Compatible with the Kessil® WiFi Dongle.

Specifications

Adjustable spectrum

The spectrum is selected directly on the lamp housing. Easy-to-use intensity and color dials allow the user to switch between the spectrums and adjust intensity from 10% to 100% depending on the phase of the algae / plant growth and thus maximizing flexibility and convenience.

Blue Spectrum

The Blue spectrum accelerates the growth of algae / soft corals / plants at any stage by encouraging prolific stem extension. Use this for refugiums with predominantly soft corals (pulsing xenia, etc).

GROW spectrum

The GROW spectrum improves vegetative growth during the entire life cycle of many different macroalgae (Cheatomorpha, Caulerpa, Gracilaria etc.).

BLOOM spectrum

The BLOOM spectrum increases yield by encouraging flowering during the crucial stage of plant reproduction.

Red spectrum

The red spectrum promotes root growth and productivity.

Daylight mode

The daylight mode can be used to clean the tank or to take photos.

Green light

The green light can be used to monitor the plants without disturbing the plant‘s growth cycle. This spectrum is only available with the WiFi Dongle.

Light shaping with the reflectors -55 and -35

Using the Kessil® Reflector -55 (optional accessory), center light intensity can be further enhanced by up to three times for further penetration and even fife times by Reflector -35 (optional accessory) – perfect for deep aquariums. Contrast, depth and dynamics of an aquarium get more impressive.

Dense Matrix LED technology for superior illumination

The patented Kessil® Dense Matrix LED technology concentrates multiple LED chips into a single array (cluster / bundle), creating a powerful and penetrating light source with wide coverage, even light distribution and natural, vibrant lighting effects. The lens on the matrix ensures that it is not too bright directly under the lamp and yet, at the same time not too dark at the edges. Penetration can be further enhanced by positioning multiple units in close proximity to each other.

Water-resistant and durable

The electronic parts are plastic-coated and therefore less sensitive to moisture.

Photon Volume Density — Superior ratio between luminaire size and light output

Although the heat sink and thus the compact housing of the A360X LED is 30% smaller than that of the previous version A360, the A360X comes up with 25% higher light output and a larger light cone.

Cooling / Heat management

The innovative heat management system features consistent light output while consuming minimal power and producing less heat and thus enhances longevity and efficiency of the fixture.
