Turbelle stream in 700-litre Aquarium

Turbelle stream in 700-litre Aquarium

Question asked by Mr Riedel / Germany

I have set up a new marine aquarium which is in the process of running in now. The dimensions are 160 x 70 x 70 cm (62.9 x 27.5 x 27.5 in.), fitted with a front pane with an inclination of about 10 degrees. After the running-in phase, the tank will be inhabited by about 70 per cent of hard corals and 30 per cent of leather corals. My question now is as follows: Is one Turbelle stream 12000 sufficient, or do I need another circulation pump ? About 900 to 1,000 litres (237.7 to 264.1 US gal.) are pumped from the filter chamber below the main tank.

For this tank you need a TS 24 Kit consisting of two Turbelle stream 6100 and one Multicontroller 7094. Place one Turbelle stream 6100 in one corner each. Set the Multicontroller 7094 to wave operation and interval. Thus, only one pump will operate at a time, thus producing a strong rotational flow.
