Questions about Turbelle

Questions about Turbelle

Enquiry from Mr. Hummel / Germany

1. Are pot-type filters suitable for use with the Turbelle electronic and by how much is the performance reduced ?

2. Can the Turbelle electronic be purchased separately, i.e. without the singlecontroller 7091 ?

3. Is the use of two Turbelle electronic for 600 - 3000 l/h and control by means of the Multicontroller 7094 adequate for a 550 litre salt water basin, or rated too low or too high ?

Answer

And now our answer to your questions:

1. You can of course fit a pot-type filter on every Turbelle but must take into consideration a certain filter surface in proportion to the pump performance. In other words we recommend:
- a pot-type filter 820 up to 2400 l/h for 7210/2
- two pot-type filters 820 up to 3000 l/h for 7310/2
- two or three filters 820 up to 4000 l/h for 7410/2

2. Yes, under article numbers 7200/2, 7300/2 and 7400/2.

3. It is adequate but you will soon realise that you can never have enough circulation in a basin. The Multicontroller 7094 allows you the maximum pumping capacity and to step it down, thus allowing ideal matching of the circulation to the animals, basin shape and decorations.
But for optimisation of your basin we need still more details from you.
